CLPA membership keeps growing

CC-Link continues its rapid expansion as an open network worldwide. Latest figures show that CLPA membership has exceeded fourteen hundred companies with over a thousand CC-Link certified products now available from two hundred different vendors worldwide.

As an indication of the openness of CC-Link, there are now seven manufacturers making twenty different network master stations, with twenty-one manufacturers making I/O devices and also twenty four different variable speed drive (VSD) manufacturers making interfaces.

CC-Link is now recognised and accepted globally as one of the leading open field networks. This has prompted many companies to acknowledge that developing a CC-Link interface has been good for their global business. Despite the present economic climate, the demand from Asia for high performance European products and equipment will continue for some years. As the leading open network in the region CC-Link is a requirement on many end-user checklists, and without a CC-Link interface, equipment producers risk missing business there.
